This trip to Kauai was truly unforgettable.
We reunited with old friends. We had the privilege of shaping boards in our mentor Dick Brewer’s shaping room. We built our own boards and glassed them with John, just like we did back in 1991.

We shared stories, made new friendships, and spent precious time with people connected to Dick’s legacy.
And of course, we surfed fun waves every day.

Moments like these remind us how fortunate we are to be part of this surfing community.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed us, shared their stories, and made this trip so special.

Our hearts are full.

2026年のカウアイトリップは、
私たちにとって忘れられない旅となりました。

長い間会えなかった友人たちとの再会。
師匠ディック・ブルーワーのシェイプルームで
ボードを削らせていただいたこと。
そして35年前と同じように、
ジョンにボードのグラッシングをしてもらえたこと。

さらに、ブルーワー先生を愛した人たちと出会い、
先生にまつわる数々のストーリーを聞きながら、
かけがえのない時間を共に過ごすことができました。

もちろん、毎日のサーフィンも最高でした。

人とのご縁、受け継がれていく技術や想い、
そして海が繋いでくれた時間。
そのすべてに感謝しています。

この旅で感じたことや学んだことは、これから少しずつホームページやInstagramで共有していきたいと思います。

今回お会いできた皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。
